 The Mission is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Good News that Jesus Suffered and Died On The Cross, making payment for the world’s sin, that He was Buried and then Three Days Latter Resurrected To Life victorious over sin and death.

Those who ask God the Father for forgiveness, repenting and turning from their sin to serve Jesus, believing in Him as their LORD and SAVIOR, shall be saved from the eternal punishment of hell created for the devil and his angels. They will receive in Christ the forgiveness of all sin, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit for new life and the gift of eternal life with God in heaven. After the final judgment they will live with God and all the saints (forgiven redeemed sinners) in the created new heavens and new earth, All Without Cost. { don’t miss out — for all of our sin was placed upon Jesus and paid for with His Sinless BLOOD}

The Apostle Paul put it this way:

“For Christ sent me not to baptizebut to preach the gospelnot with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:17-18).

A Missions Encouragement To Prayer

I love_____; that is why I pray for them to receive Christ, God’s ultimate blessing.

In fulfilling the Commission of Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth, the Church faces relentless and bitter spiritual warfare.This warfare is not against people of any religion or affiliation. Christ, who died for all human beings, instructed us to love our neighbors (expressing, with God’s strength, God’s love in our hearts). This war is against the evil powers which control People and hinder them from seeing the light of the Gospel of Christ (Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”).

We are warring against Satan “the god of this world [who] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

When we pray this does not mean that we feel superior. We do not think we are better than _____ or any other people. We believe we are fallen human beings like all others, but that we have been saved by God’s grace “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe we have a biblical grasp of the truth and a divine mandate to bring other fallen human beings (sinners, by God’s standards) into the kingdom of God. I love _____. It is my biblical grasp of the truth that causes me to want to rescue them from perishing in hell if they die without believing in Christ. Therefore … pray for them.

      “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love May be able to comprehend  with all saints What is the Breadth, and Length, and Depth, and Height; And to Know the Love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be FILLED WITH ALL THE  FULLNESS OF GOD. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, A’men” (Ephesians 3:14-21).

How Blessed We Are

 Yes how blessed we are to have the Word of God in our hands and in our hearts. In times of joy, the Word helps us to express our innermost heartbeats. In times of fear, sadness and sorrow, we find comfort and help. We hear Him:

“Fear thou not; For I am with thee;
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea,
I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness” Isaiah 41:10.

The Word of God gives us direction when we find ourselves at a crossroads. It gives us instructions and guidance for the pathway we are to take in order to bring glory to His name and blessing to the world. My heart never ceases to be moved by the Word of God:

“For from of old (the beginning of the world)
They (men) have not heard … Neither has eye seen
a God besides Thee, Who acts in behalf
of the one who waits for Him” Isaiah 64:4.

Indeed, how blessed we are to have, and to know, the God of the Bible, and to be known of Him. To meditate on His Word and to walk with Him is pure joy. God redeemed us through His Son who died to pay the penalty for our sin.

Our God is not a god created by human hands and He is not dependent on any mortal man. Neither is He a god in need of anything we can give. He is the Eternal God. He is the great I AM.

Having returned recently from my homeland of _____ where the majority of people worship myriads of gods and goddesses, my heart is more conscious of how blessed I am to know, to have and to worship the true and living God. At the same time, my heart goes out to those who bow down to lifeless idols made with their hands. If only they knew of the God who created them in His own likeness, to love and worship Him, and to enjoy Him forever!

… Sinners saved by the grace of God through Christ Jesus, are given the responsibility to tell _____ about Christ and His love. God could have done it without us. But it is in His love and mercy that He gives us the privilege of sharing the Gospel – the Good News that Jesus saves.

May He Find Us Faithful To Him And To The Task He Calls Us To Do.
